Since I spend a good deal of time in the swamp/woods I'm used to them. I think that after 18 years of marriage Debby is getting used to the occasional "tick check" on the back and back of neck. Last summer while visiting my BIL in the...Oh Yuck! Last summer while visiting my BIL in the woods of Minnesota we found a tick on Binny's butt. At first we thought it was a mole but upon further inspection we correctly identified the tick and checked to make sure it was just a wood tick. Wood ticks have either suspenders or collar like markings.
